Jonathan Willcox has spent his working life teaching A-Level Geography — eighteen years in the classroom, and since 2023 tutoring it full-time.
He taught for three years at a state comprehensive in west London, then for fifteen years at an independent school in Surrey, including eight as Head of Department. He has taught the OCR specification since it was first introduced in 2016.

He maintains current safeguarding certification through the agencies he works with.
As Head of Department he marked and moderated NEA coursework before it went to the board.

To discuss whether Jonathan is the right fit, email jono@geographystudio.co.uk with a little about your son or daughter: their exam board, their year group, and what they are finding difficult. He will reply, and can arrange a phone or video call to answer any further questions and to hear about your son or daughter's particular needs.
